Bath Time with Mom

This is what happens when Mom is left with Toby in the bath! Usually it's daddy's job but mom has the duty today! He loves when I sing to him in the bath. My happy water boy!

Tobyn what you have been up to lately:

You are almost sitting up all by yourself.
You must at all times be able to see someone, meaning you can't play by yourself while mom is in the other room.
You ate peas for the first time.
I had to do back to feeding you at 3am other wise you wake up to many times in the morning.

You weigh 18lbs in the top 90%
And you are 25.5 inches tall top 75%.

I predict that you will be crawling close to 6 months because you already do an army commando crawl on your tummy turning in circles. Daddy and I love you so much and love your morning smiles. Thanks for letting us know you love us.

Tobyn's First Easter!

 My very first Easter basket! April 24, 2011 Tobyn is 5 months and active more than ever.  he looks to cute in his Easter outfit. What a wonderful day we all had together.

What a great family day! I'm so thankful for my baby boy and wonderful husband.  Now it's time to watch some baseball and Charlie Brown's Easter special.

More Practice Sitting Up

I Heart Jonny Jumperoo!

He loves his little jumper, he is finally big enough to sit in it and not freak out.

He loves it, and it's nice we put it in the computer room door way and so Daddy or I can be working on it and watching him.  Sometimes I can just put on a movie and he is so happy!

He is going to get it!

He loves anything that makes that crinkle noise and that butterfly has more crinkle than he can handle, he tried to eat it the whole time he was in it!

Spinning around and around and around...

 My big baby boy just think in a few months he is going to be crawling all over the place!  I'm just glad summer is coming soon cause the floors here get so cold!!

Tobyn's Nursery!

I finally got the photos uploaded... Sorry for putting it off I've been getting back to the gym so my free time has been cut a little short.

Great Grandma Schafer sent Tobyn this name in white wooden blocks and it was the perfect canvas for me to paint the letters like sports balls.  the "0" is a baseball, "B" is a basketball, and "Y" is a Football.  The "T" and "N" I was going to paint stars in white but then I thought it would make it look cluttered and a little girly.  So I figured the simpler the better.

 

 This is on his door I bought a pack of stickers from Amazon and they looked great I put them all over his room.  He loves to look at them while feeding and rocking in his chair.

 Another view of the dresser with all his stuffed animals, bottle warmer (thanks again Mama Swan, I use it everyday!), and I put pictures up of Nik and me when we were little in red frames.  Also his Nik's old cleat piggy bank that I refinished. So cute and all the memories.

 Wide view of the right side of the room. I so love my rocking chair and the night stand.  I have a sweet set up to feed him in the dark I don't even need to turn a light on any more and it's pitch black in his room since I lined the windows with tin foil so that the lights from the city don't distract him for his night time feeding.  It took me a few days to figure out how to fix that problem cause the lights would shine in and he would stare and stare and not go back to sleep.

 Whole room shot from the door way.  The curtain on the window and the dust ruffle on the crib where hand made by me from an old dust ruffle from our last bed set.  I didn't want to just throw it away and I needed those things to complete his room.  I was pretty proud of myself.

 All the stickers of each sport on the wall.  They say Touchdown, Goal, Home Run, and Nuthin' but Net.  All for my little All-Star.

 The cutest Tiddlywinks bedding. Again I love Amazon because it's one of a few places that ship to APO addresses.  The crib liner has saved Tobyn many head bangings becuase he is a wild man sleeper.  He spins all around and is never in the same place when I go to check on him.

 This crib is awesome! It was actually a gift from our Photographer Josh Oz and we thank you so much!  It has a hamper, changing pad and shelves for everything.  Tobyn loves his wipe warmer for the cold winter we were glad to have it back.

 His sport sheet with football and baseball pillows which he got for Christmas from mom and dad.

 I hung Nik's old pennants from his room above Tobyn's closet.  Gotta show some love for the Trail Blazers!!

 TK's Huge closet There is so much space I have not even filled it up yet.  There is a 3 door that opens up to shelves and that is were we keep the extra blankets and bed sheet for him along with other random toys photos.  I love the sport canvas shelf rack I bought from the Yongsan Flea Market.

The last finishing touch is these foam mats I got from the flea market so when toby is playing on the floor it is not so hard.  But I spelled his name out so he can see it all the time.

I'm so happy for everything we got and glad that he has his own room!
