Beach Bums!

We are enjoying our weekend together!  I have been swimming everyday for about 20-40 min.  It's the best exercise I can do while pregnant and it's a lot of fun to enjoy the sun and water.

It was also crazy at the beach there were like 4 really pregnant ladies.  They were all sitting around us it was so weird I felt out of place that I'm not showing off my big belly but I did fit in, I guess.  It was cool to see the bellies though makes me happy to think that I will have one soon.

Here is a pic Nik took of the beach line but the lady in the middle is a big ol' prego it was cute.

The sun has been blazing when it's out.  I know this summer is going to be a hot and sticky one.  I hope I will survive during my second trimester!!
Especially since we have no A/C in our house, I know that we will have to invest in some fans of some kind.  We will worry about that then, until then just being beach bums and loving it!!

Puena Point

We visited this beach located at the beginning of Haleiwa as you are heading into town. It's a pretty popular park so there is always lots of cars and lines in the bathroom. It was finally another weekend that Nik was able to come out and enjoy the sun and sand. It was a beautiful day all the clouds just missed us and the sun was shining all day.

Nik finally got to take a board out and surf a little, he caught a few good ones but he really needs to get his own board that fits his warrior status. After he was on the waves he came in to sun tan with me for awhile but poor thing has an army tan and in the few hours we were out got sun burnt.

It was a nice relaxing day and still exciting to know the news of my being pregnant and today I am 4 weeks along. Just starting my pregnancy it has just been a blissful weekend!

Waimea Bay

All this month Nik has had four day weekends off work, which has been so much fun to go out and play. We have had a busy week and after my nap we decided to take a stroll and a sunset dip in the ocean. The water was cold at this time of day but it sure ended up feeling great. It's such an amazing beach I have never been that this time of day and I'm glad we took the walk.

We also ended up seeing a rainbow on the way home. <3

Kewela Bay

Our first time out getting some sun! Finally after getting married and settled down we have some time to enjoy our life on North Shore.

Our roommate showed us this bay that is sorta hidden because it's on turtle bay property but by law no one can own the beach property. The only way I know its there is because there is a Kahuku fruit stand right across the entrance. Once you walk through it's like a jungle and there is a huge banion tree and a shallow beach that you are able to swim in anytime. Best part is that not many people know of it and there is hardly anyone there, most of the time you have the whole bay to yourself!

I am so thankful to be living in such a beautiful place with my wonderful husband. Live is good
