Streets of Itaewon

The road to Itaewon.  The very short walk to the main strip of the city.  We have to go through our back yard here tot he right.  and then pass through a secured gate/box/finger scan booth.  Very secure to get in and out which is very reassuring, but it doesn't work properly so we always have to call ourselves in.  Then up the back alley which looks like garbage alley! Then onto the main road through town.  It's a very simple walk you could even walk to the 2 miles to base if you really wanted a good workout.  What is so crazy to see is all the stairs going to other streets the terrain here is so vast.  From just our window on the 12th floor you can see cars eye level with you about 2 football fields away.  Very good for exercise.  Anyways we will keep you updated on cool  places we visit.  There is a cute little tea place and also a German restaurant that the inside fully looks like the motherland. Can't wait to explore!

That's so weird about seeing cars at ground level from the 12th floor. And I like the building in the last pic too, the corner of it looks very tower of Pisa-y.
